FAQ

What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is black tie optional. Ladies should wear anything from a full-length gown, to a cocktail dress, and the gentlemen should wear a tux or a dark business suit and dress shoes.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

You will receive an RSVP code with your invitation. Please RSVP online by April 1st, 2020.

Can I bring the kids or a date?

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Yes, we will be providing a shuttle from the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt to the venue. If your accommodations are elsewhere and you would like to take the shuttle, please let us know and we will provide you with instructions.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Parking is free at the Barr Mansion. We will also be providing a shuttle from the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

We will be hosting a Welcome Party at the Kimpton Hotel Van Zandt on Thursday, May 7th in the evening - open for all. We will also be hosting a farewell brunch the morning after the wedding - please RSVP. See events page for more details.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The weather in May is typically 70-80°F (fingers crossed for sunshine!)

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony & reception will take place indoors. Following the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour which will be outdoors. Bug spray will be provided.

What happens after the ceremony?

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head to the cocktail hour where we will be serving finger foods and beverages.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten-free/special diet options?

We will be offering a family style meal at the reception with many different options, including vegetarian. If you have other dietary needs please email us at support@littman.wedding to let us know and we will make sure to accommodate.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
